Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start Available

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver in Lutterworth for ongoing parcel trunking work with an established logistics operation.

This is a long-term Category C+E driving role offering consistent work, regular hours and reliable weekly earnings. As a Class 1 Driver, you will complete straightforward parcel trunking between distribution centres and depots.

There are no multi-drop deliveries, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular trunking work in Lutterworth and the surrounding Leicestershire area.

Genuine PAYE Pay Rate

All of our advertised pay rates are genuine PAYE rates with no rolled-up holiday pay.

The advertised £17.00 per hour is your genuine basic PAYE rate, with holiday pay accrued separately. We believe in being completely transparent about driver pay so you know exactly what you are earning before accepting the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle on scheduled parcel trunking routes
• Complete depot-to-depot and distribution centre trunking
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely
• Complete all required transport paperwork accurately
• Communicate effectively with the transport office
• Follow Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and road safety regulations

Driver Requirements

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
• Maximum 6 penalty points with no major endorsements
• Previous trunking experience preferred
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach to driving
