Class 1 Driver – Night Trunking – Immediate Start Available

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver at Magna Park, Lutterworth for full-time night trunking work.

This is a straightforward Category C+E trunking position offering a regular Sunday-to-Thursday working pattern, consistent 19:00 starts and just one drop per day.

As a Class 1 Driver, you will complete scheduled night trunking runs between depots and distribution centres. With no multi-drop work and only one drop per shift, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking for consistent Class 1 night work at Magna Park.

Genuine PAYE Pay Rate

All of our advertised pay rates are genuine PAYE rates with no rolled-up holiday pay.

The advertised £20.00–£22.00 per hour rates are genuine PAYE rates, with holiday pay accrued separately. The rate you see is the rate you earn.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicle on scheduled night trunking routes
• Complete one drop per day
• Carry out straightforward depot-to-depot trunking
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely
• Complete all required transport paperwork accurately
• Communicate effectively with the transport office
• Follow Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and road safety regulations

Driver Requirements

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous trunking experience preferred
• Maximum 6 penalty points with no major endorsements
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach to driving
