Scaffold Labourer / Driver Class 2

Location: Basildon Essex
Pay: £200 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime available)

About the Role

We are a well-established scaffolding company looking for a reliable Scaffold Labourer / Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on role combining yard work, site labouring, and driving duties, supporting our scaffolders on a variety of commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles to deliver and collect scaffolding materials
• Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment safely
• Assisting scaffolders on site with general labouring duties
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Following all health & safety procedures on site and in the yard

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence (Class 2 / HGV preferred but not essential depending on role)
• Experience working in scaffolding, construction, or labouring (preferred but not essential)
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• CSCS card (preferred – training can be provided for the right candidate)
