We are looking for 7.5T HGV Driver + Towing to start ASAP for our growing client base across the IP postcode, with all the support from our experienced Driver Hire team in Bury St Edmunds.

 

The successful 7.5T HGV Driver + Towing will receive:

• £13.50/h basic PAYE
• £15.00/h overtime PAYE
• 33 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)
• Free on site parking.
• Guaranteed 7.5hrs per day.
• Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a 7.5T HGV Driver + Towing:

Working Monday to Friday you will be driving a 3.5T Iveco Flatbed with a 3.5T trailer. You will be delivering and collecting parts to and from sub-contractors for an engineering firm within a 50 mile radius Stanton. This will typically be 5-7 drops per day.

You must be comfortable using ratchet straps to safely secure your load.

Days start at 0800hrs and will be approximately 8hrs long.

When not driving, you will be expected to help around site where required.

 

As a 7.5T HGV Driver + Towing you must:

• Current UK Licence with Cat C1 (7.5T) entitlement
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tacho Card
• Experience with towing trailers
• Transport coordination experience desired
• Computer literacy required.
• Have no more than 3 effective penalty points.
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
