We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team in the St Ives area. Working on an on-going contract delivering graduation garments to universities across the UK. Enjoy flexible working hours, competitive pay rates, and an excellent working environment.

The Role:

As a Class 2 Driver, your main responsibility will be delivering graduation gowns to universities across the UK, this will usually be 1 drop and 1 collection per day using a tail lift. The garments are in boxes on wheels and you will also be accompanied by a drivers mate to help with the delivery. This is a on-going role with flexible start times for AM or PM.

• Monday to Sunday (Weekend optional)
• Guaranteed 8 hours of pay, despite normally long days of 12+ hours
• Pay rates starting from £18.00 going up to £23.75 per hour depending on shift time and day (PAYE / Umbrella PAYE contract)
• Starts from week commencing 6th July.
• Double manned crew

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers who are comfortable with manual handling
• 24 months minimum experience is ideal, with no more than 6 points on your license
• A valid CPC, Driver’s License, and Digi Card are required
• Basic English language skills, both spoken and written
• Understanding of driver’s hours and regulations when working as a HGV Class 2 Driver
