Class 2 Driver – St Neots – Immediate Start – Weekday & Weekend Opportunities

Location: St Neots
Pay: £18.00 – £23.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join a leading distribution operation based in Northampton.

You will be responsible for transporting goods across various routes from Northampton, completing store deliveries (number of drops between 1-3), operating curtain side vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with DVSA requirements
• Reporting vehicle defects and carrying out basic maintenance where required
• Securing loads to meet all safety and compliance standards
• Operating curtain side vehicles
• Responding to traffic disruptions and rerouting when necessary
• Adhering to all vehicle compliance, driving regulations, and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV driver
• Valid UK Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have valid right to work in the UK
