Temporary - Days - circa 55+ hours week
Pay: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 2 Drivers for full-time temporary work with busy general haulage operations in and around Northampton.
You will be responsible for transporting goods on a curtainsider across various routes, securing loads safely and working to all compliance and safety standards.
Pay Rates

£19 per hour (Ltd or Umbrella)
£16 per hour (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities

Securing loads using ratchet straps to meet all safety and compliance standards
Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with DVSA requirements
Adhering to all vehicle compliance, driving regulations, and health & safety procedures

Job Details

Full-time temporary work, Monday to Friday each week
Day shifts

Requirements

Minimum 1 year's experience as a Class 2 HGV driver
Must be comfortable using ratchet straps and securing a load
Valid UK Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 penalty points
Strong knowledge of the UK road network
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must have valid right to work in the UK
