Salary: £37,000 – £38,000 Depending on Experience + Company Car

Hours of Work: Full-time, Permanent

Driver Compliance Coordinator’s Responsibilities:

  • Organisation & delivery of screening, interviewing & assessing of prospective applicants & matching them with available vacancies
  • Ensure drivers comply with the drivers’ hours & working time rules
  • Ensure driver & vehicle downloads are conducted within the legal timeframe
  • Undertake investigations into driver conduct/misdemeanour & discipline as & when required
  • Undertake investigations into accidents/collisions
  • Ensure drivers comply with the accident reporting policy
  • Conduct drug & alcohol testing as & when required
  • Ensure drivers are properly trained & competent to operate all relevant vehicles & equipment
  • Analyse & review driver telemetry scores on a weekly basis & target poor performance with corrective action
  • Arrange & deliver employment inductions as & when required
  • Organisation & distribution of driver PPE & Uniform

Driver Compliance Coordinator’s Requirements:

Essential:

  • Must have LGV Class 1 Licence
  • Min of 5 years’ HGV driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong, professional standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solid understanding of road laws/regulations
  • Flexibility of working hours may be required depending on operational needs
  • Prepared to travel when required

Desirable:

  • Advantageous to have specialist trailer training and ADR training
  • TMCPC – Desirable
