HGV Class 1 Driver

Monday to Friday | Curtainside | General Haulage | 3 Drops Maximum | Weekly Pay

We are seeking reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 Curtainside Drivers to join our team in the Bury St Edmunds area. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent work, strong rates, and a supportive team environment.

Pay Rates:

• £19.00 per hour – Days
• £20.00 per hour – Nights

The Role:

As a Class 1 Curtainside Driver, you will be responsible for general haulage deliveries with up to 3 drops per shift.

• Up to 3 deliveries of palletised goods per shift
• Driving a curtainside HGV Class 1 vehicle
• General haulage
• Trunking and tramping available
• Daily vehicle checks and completion of delivery paperwork
• Ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods
• Ongoing work available

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
• Valid CPC
• Valid Digi Tacho Card
• Experience with 3-drop deliveries preferred, but not essential
• Professional attitude and good communication skills
