Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver – Raunds – Immediate Start – Weekday & Weekend Opportunities

We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers to join a leading logistics operation based in Raunds.

You will be responsible for transporting goods across various routes from Northampton, completing store/customer deliveries (number of drops dependent on customer requirements), operating curtain side vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with DVSA requirements
• Reporting vehicle defects and carrying out basic maintenance where required
• Securing loads to meet all safety and compliance standards
• Operating curtain side vehicles in line with customer needs
• Responding to traffic disruptions and rerouting when necessary
• Adhering to all vehicle compliance, driving regulations, and health & safety procedures

Job Details

• Immediate start available
• Weekend work available ASAP
• Day and night shifts available

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Class 1 (Cat C+E) HGV driver
• Valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have valid right to work in the UK
