HGV Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver - DAY WORK - Guaranteed HGV Work EVERY Week.

HireGiant is currently looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Walsall (WS1). This is a fantastic opportunity for ongoing work completing general haulage deliveries across the UK! This is ongoing LGV work with the potential to become a permanent position! Temp to perm opportunity with a pay rise when permanent

The Role:

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be:

• Making goods deliveries using a HGV1 curtain side vehicle
• Must have at least 3 months HGV experience.
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
• Completing HGV vehicle checks
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
• Starting around 07:00am daily - shifts around 12 hours

Requirements:

• Class 1 licence entitlement - CAT C+E
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest

Hours & Pay Rates (PAYE):

Monday to Friday shift pattern - 07:00 Start

Shift Length - 12 hours

Up to £20.00 per hour – (Monday to Friday)
