Permanent Delivery Driver – No Weekend Work

Outbox Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Delivery Driver for a permanent position with a well-established client based in Leyland.

This is a full-time PAYE opportunity offering a £30,000 salary, Monday-to-Friday working and no weekend shifts.

The client is looking for someone with previous professional driving experience who is reliable, hardworking, confident dealing with customers and looking for a stable, long-term position.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries to customers efficiently and professionally.

Your duties will include:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries
• Following planned delivery routes
• Loading and checking your vehicle
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Completing relevant delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable
• Returning the vehicle to the depot at the end of your working day

What We’re Looking For

Previous professional driving experience is required.

You’ll also need:

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• No serious driving endorsements
• Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual approach
• Confidence working independently
• Professional attitude
