HGV Class 1 Driver - Days

Class 1 Driver
Temporary - Days - circa 55+ hours week
Pay: £16.00 - £19.00 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers for full-time temporary work with busy general haulage operations in and around Ellington.
You will be responsible for transporting goods in a refrigerated unit across various routes, securing loads safely and working to all compliance and safety standards.
Pay Rates

• £19 per hour (Ltd or Umbrella)
• £16 per hour (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with DVSA requirements
• Adhering to all vehicle compliance, driving regulations, and health & safety procedures

Job Details

• Full-time temporary work, Monday to Friday each week
• Day shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year's experience as a Class 1 (Cat C+E) HGV driver with Fridge experience.
• Must be comfortable with setting fridge / freezer temps.
• Valid UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have valid right to work in the UK
