Class 2 Driver (Category C) – Temp to Perm Opportunity

F2 Recruitment, acting as an employment business is recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Drivers based at their Rochdale depot.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Europe's leading logistics companies, with many of our agency drivers successfully progressing into permanent employment.

The Role
You'll be delivering a variety of palletised goods throughout the North West to commercial premises, residential addresses and other delivery locations.

Deliveries are made using a tail lift and pump truck, with no handball involved. All deliveries are kerbside, allowing you to focus on providing a safe and professional delivery service.

Agency drivers generally start at 07:30am, finishing between 3:00pm and 5:00pm, depending on the day's route. As with any transport operation, some days may run a little longer.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for drivers who:

✔ Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) licence
✔ Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Are confident using handheld PDAs
✔ Understand the importance of load security and are experienced using load straps
✔ Have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

If you have recently passed your Class 2 test and have little or no commercial driving experience, full support will be provided, including training days alongside an experienced driver before working independently.

Pay & Benefits
💷 £15.00 per hour for the first 8 hours

💷 £22.50 per hour after 8 hours

📅 Monday to Friday only

💰 Weekly PAYE pay

🏖 Holiday pay accrued separately (never rolled into your hourly rate)
